SURVEY BUSINESS TRENDS in the MACEDON RANGES

and

Good afternoon tourism industry partner

Last week, you should have received an email from Deakin University inviting you to participate in a survey that aims to map local business trends, identify expectations and skill gaps in the Macedon Ranges. The survey is part of a project being completed in partnership with Deakin University through its Centre for Regional and Rural Futures.

The survey findings will be published in a ‘Jobs for the Future Blueprint’ that will look at ways to support local business growth and employment creation to 2036 and beyond to align with our settlement projections. This research and information base will be crucial for the development of a new overarching Economic Development Strategy.

Over 100 surveys have been filled out to date, which is a great result but to ensure that all of our industry sectors and businesses are represented, we are sending out targeted emails to give you the opportunity to provide your valuable advice and input via the survey - if you haven’t done so already!

For further information, you can visit our website or you can contact Leanne Davey, Business Development Coordinator on 5421 9617 or ldavey@mrsc.vic.gov.au

Warm regards,
Jane
