The new Community Bank and retail development (Main Street ROMSEY) will be able to proceed with strict VCAT conditions to accommodate the surrounding heritage trees (including the 135 year old Magnolia grandiflora) and the removal of the underground disused fuel tanks.
The new Community Bank must also be set back away from the heritage trees zone. The new bank’s floor design will now have to be redesigned to accommodate a smaller number of retail shops.
