On Saturday (11th October) the Romsey Community Bank celebrated its 5th Anniversary with a free BBQ, face painting and jumping castle for the kids. Senior Manager Rod Browning, Chairperson Doug Newnham and other directors of the Community Bank were in attendance. Local councillor Joe Morabito praised the Bank’s initiatives over the last 5 years and together with the Bank’s Pig mascot formally cut the birthday cake.
Romsey Lancefield Rotary Club Inc volunteered to work the BBQ and handed out at least 300 free Romsey Community Bank sausages. Thanks to Macedon Ranges Meat Specialist Peter O’Rourke and his staff as well as Rotarians Diane Powell, Dennis Ness, Karen Stevens and Greg Powell for their services to the community on this morning of celebration.
